STICK MAN SENSORY DAY PARC UNDER 5'S

August 23, 2016

Just a couple of weeks ago some of our PARC Under 5's Club took part in a fun sensory play day at our centre in Great Notley, based on the well loved Julia Donaldson Children's book, Stick Man!

Incase you haven't encountered the book, it tells the tale of Stick Man who lives in the Family Tree with his Stick Lady Love and their stick children.  But it's dangerous being a Stick Man. A dog wants to play with him, a swan builds her nest with him. He even ends up on a fire!

Our amazing Under 5's team brought the story to life through sensory activities, including water play, encounters with nature and light and we even had a real life dog take part!  All the children got to join in with the story and they had a fantastic time learning how Stick Man eventually get's back to his Family Tree!

A big big thank you to Amanda and the team for putting on another brilliant session for our Under 5's.

Please enjoy a few photographs from the day and thank you to everyone who came along and enjoyed the day :)
